It was published by Pantheon Books and is a first printing. There are over 40 full color large images suitable for framing and numerous black and white images. The book came from a non-smoking home and is in good condition with minor cover and spine wear. It covers cave paintings through Van Gogh.

Times at Bat by Arthur Daley 1950 First Printing This is a hard cover library book. It is in fair condition with its original dust cover which has been protected with a removable plastic cover. This is the 1950 First Printing of Arthur Daley's book "Times at Bat, A half Century of Baseball". The only real defect I see is one tape marks on the cover ans light dirt. The book covers such greats as Babe Ruth, Walter Johnson, Casey Stengel, Lou Gehrig, Stan Musial, Joe Page, Frank Frisch, Hal Chase, Rogers Hornsby, Nap Lajoie, Cy Young, Ty Cobb, Jackie Robinson, Joe DiMaggio and many more. It is discribed an an informal, story studded chronicle of America's favorite pastime by the sport columnist of the New York Times. It includes some wonderful black and white photos.

Russia and Japan and the War in the East, 1904 This is a hard cover book in fair condition with spine problems andworn cover. This book was written by Fredrick William Unger,a fromer war correspondent of the "London Times" and "Daily Express".It has only one date 1904 so it may be a first edition. It has 456 pages and I see three back pages have a tiny tear in them. There are many illustrations which in the book are called "Half-tone Engravings and Special Artists' Drawings". It is a facinating history of the Russo-Japanese War.

Sold Paddle Fan, 1907 Gibson Girl Auto Driver This is a wonderful vintage paper (cardboard) paddle fan. The image is a portrait of lovely young Gibson type Girl or Woman driving a car or as they use to say automobile. The image is in rich sepia tones. This piece is an 8 ¼" long and 7 ¼" wide, and is in very good condition. There is wear on the bottom two corners and the Bottom Right hand corner has a crack but is all there.
